Unwitnessing Jehovah's Witnesses

Image
I just had an amazing conversation with two Jehovah's Witnesses. I was not expecting to run into them today. I pulled up to the store and looked up to see them right in front of me. I couldn't say, "not today Lord." We talked for thirty minutes and by the end of the conversation I had told them that the Watchtower Society was a false prophet and the "Good News" they shared with me is a false good news (gospel). Still, they shook my hand and the man said that I was a nice pers on! Please pray for this couple, I really believe the Lord has been working on the husband's heart. Below is a video I did about Beth Sarim which is one of the organization's false prophecies and which I talked to the couple about. Also, if JW's ever come to your door and you're unsure of what to say, just LISTEN to the message they initially share with you. Book a "Bible Study" with them and when they come by ask them where in the New Testament do you ...

My Kingdom Hall Experience Part 4

The following is my experience of attending a Kingdom Hall for five weeks straight. After each meeting and discussion with the Jehovah's Witnesses I wrote out my thoughts. Names have been changed for obvious reasons. All information is accurate and honest as possible.     As I pinned the "God's Word is Truth" convention invite to my bulletin board, I reflected on how I got to this point. Several years ago when God saved me, I started street witnessing. I would go to a nearby bus/trolley stop and talk to people about Jesus. Many Jehovah's Witnesses would gather at this stop also. I started to study their beliefs and ask them many questions. For a good year and half I would have regular conversations with one man on the identity of Jesus and the nature of God. It always fascinated me how the Jehovah's Witnesses would just sit at the bus stop, barely speak to anyone and maybe give out one or two magazines. I would try to make my time there as productive as pos...

My Kingdom Hall Experience Part 3

The following is my experience of attending a Kingdom Hall for five weeks straight. After each meeting and discussion with the Jehovah's Witnesses I wrote out my thoughts. Names have been changed for obvious reasons. All information is accurate and honest as possible.  What was I to do? Should I attend the meeting and risk being recognized by the guest speaker or anyone who was with him? If he did recognize me or he was with someone who I had spoken to before, my home meetings with Jane would end. After much prayer and time in the Scriptures, I decided to go. I walked in late on Sunday afternoon holding my breath. The 'usher' recognizes me by now, I follow him as he shows me where Jane and her family are seated. I look up at the podium to see who is speaking, much to my relief I did not know the guest speaker. I couldn't help but smile and take a huge sigh of relief. I took my seat next to Jane who seemed happy to see me. I have heard that their kindness is not genu...

What is Beth Sarim?

Image
Last week I took a drive to the Kensington Heights area in San Diego California. Located near the end of a cul-de-sac is a beautiful home that is over 5,000 square feet. This home was built in 1929 by the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society, the Jehovah's Witnesses organization. The purpose of building the home is one different than the reason given today by the Watchtower Society. In the early twenties the Watchtower Society taught that Abraham. Isaac, Jacob, and the Old Testament prophets would come back in 1925 and rule as princes and live in Beth Sarim. Read for yourself: "At San Diego, California, there is a small piece of land, on which, in the year 1929, there was built a house, which is called and known as Beth-Sarim. The Hebrew words Beth Sarim mean "House of the Princes"; and the purpose of acquiring that property and building the house was that there might be some tangible proof that there are those on earth today who fully believe God and Christ Jesu...

Let Your Kingdom Come

As a Christian my responsibility is to do God's will. Frequently I go to bus stops, trolley stops, special events and talk to people about their purpose in life. God has definitely given me a love for the lost including Jehovah's Witnesses. Every year Jehovah's Witnesses hold their annual district convention. While ministering on the streets I have come across many Jehovah's Witnesses. They take pride in being the only ones who know God's name and say that the central theme of the Bible is to sanctify Jehovah's name. It grieves me to see so many people deceived by these false prophets; the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society. At the end of May I decided to go to their annual convention and lift up the NAME of Jesus, who's name is above every name, whose name we will bow our knees to (Phil 2:9-10), and whose name we must believe on to have eternal life (1 John 5:11-13). I took some video of the preaching done there and uploaded it to youtube . I went be...
