Imagine for a minute that you walk into your boss’s office for a performance review. Your boss ends up listing a number of things about your work performance, work ethic, and character but these things are all negative and untrue. She continues to list attributes about yourself that are false. How would you feel? Would you be upset, confused? You certainly wouldn’t be receptive to what she had to say. No one likes to hear things about themselves that are false. Hillsong United Attendee Condones Abortion

Here is a quick example of one of the reasons we abolitionize Christian events. It’s certainly not to hate on Christians for not fighting abortion the exact same way as we do. Rather, it is to fulfill the Great Commission, meaning preach the Gospel and teach them the things Jesus commanded. This woman, who attends a Christian church, justified murdering humans because “God is the only judge and we have to just let him take the wheel.” She quoted Ecclesiastes 11:9 to prove along with that we are allowed to live anyway we want to. When I explained to her using Scripture that God sees the baby in the womb as a living human being and he has commanded us not to murder. She replied “that is your interpretation, I interpret the Bible differently.” I read 1 Corinthians 6:9-12 in a final attempt to get her to see that God has standards, her friend asked me to leave.
