Can you trust the Watchtower? Conversation with two Jehovah's Witnesses

Over the summer I approached two Jehovah’s Witnesses during their preaching work. They showed me a video which described the Bible as a road map for life and answers. I challenged them to consider that the road map they are provided by Watchtower is untrustworthy due to the false prophecies from their organization.

Unfortunately, they were not able to see that they are representatives of the Watchtower and not of the Bible.

At one point I gave told them a story about a pastor who made false claims to see their opinion on how the congregation should respond. They admitted that the people who attend the church of this false prophet should leave. But yet, they don’t apply their same reasoning to their own organization. Check it out:

The reality is that Jehovah's Witnesses don’t "go off the Bible" and they don't think "all Bibles are the same". These are one liners they are trained to tell people who they're prospecting. There are four things we can learn from this conversations.

 1. Jehovah's Witnesses cannot see they're representatives of an organization not the Bible.

2. They are not taught about their false prophecies which they will label "mistakes"

3. They honestly believe that their teachings line up with the Bible (so we can use this to show them the truth)

4. They use one liners like "all Bibles are the same" and "we just go off the Bible". NOT TRUE. They have their own uniquely translated Bible to fit their agenda/theology AND they believe that you must be a member of the Watchtower in order to have the "possibility" of eternal life.
